Awards Presentation
We want to recognise the achievements of our staff and the work they undertake and there will be presentation events to mark these achievements. On 14th June an Awards Presentation was held at Head Office for staff who had gained qualifications with autism.west midlands during the period June 04 to May 05. There was a wide variety of staff, with most of our services represented, including night staff, relief staff, senior managers, trainers and support workers of all grades. Three Trustees were also there to share in the success of the staff. The awards were presented by Carolyn Bailey our Chief Executive. This event gave us an opportunity to acknowledge the efforts and achievements of staff across the organisation, covering a range of job roles and including qualifications based on the Learning Disability Awards Framework (LDAF) and National Vocational Qualifications (NVQs), other training included for example, autism awareness, medication, assessments, computing and management. The evening was well supported with refreshments available and enjoyed by all. We will be holding similar events over the coming year.
