Launch of Gorse Farm's Sensory Garden...
On Tuesday 16th September 2003 the Sensory Garden at Gorse Farm was officially opened by Bob Hall of Carlton Television, accompanied by our Patron Llewela Bailey also of Carlton Television. The garden was made possible by donations of labour, equipment and grants from Birmingham Airport, BUPA Solihull, DHL, Sonic Communications and Bradstones plus many more. Our thanks go out to all the companies who made the project possible and especially all the volunteers who gave up time to help plant out the garden and build the many wooden structures.The garden offers a place of peace and tranquillity for the residents and will be available to others who may also benefit from a Sensory Garden.
