Invitation to our Big Social

You are invited to an event to celebrate national autism awareness week – 1-7th October 2007 being promoted by the Autism Alliance UK .

The focus in the West Midlands for the week is on “social skills” and during this event a giant game of Autism LUDO will be played. There will also be talks on autism by Professor Rita Jordan of Birmingham University and John Simpson – a young man with an autistic spectrum disorder.

This event will take place at the:

Botanical Gardens Westborne Road Edgbaston Birmingham
B15 3TR

on Friday October 5th between 10am and 1pm.

It will begin with coffee and pastries and there will also be the opportunity to visit the gardens.

There will be information stands and a comprehensive book stall.
