• Support to maintain health
• Support to access the community and develop a social presence

All of our residential care and supported living packages support adults aged 18 and over. Unfortunately Autism West Midlands doesn’t provide this type of support for young people. However we do provide a number of services in the community that support young people, their families and carers. To find out more please contact our Helpline Service.
You can also find more details about the work that we do in the Residential Services and Supported Living sections of our website.
Residential care provides long-term care for adults on the autistic spectrum within a residential setting. Autism West Midlands has six residential care settings in the West Midlands that together support fifty four individuals. Each person has their own room but will live amongst other individuals in a homely setting that is supported by a team of dedicated autism support workers. All support is delivered on an individualised basis, designed to meet the needs and aspirations of the individual.
Supported Living provides individual support to adults on the autistic spectrum within their own homes. The supported living environment enables individuals to retain their independence and setting within their local community but provides dedicated support from a team of autism specialists. All individuals who receive supported living care have the freedom of individualised payments, paying for their own support and accommodation. All support is delivered on an individualised basis, designed to meet the needs and aspirations of the individual.
St Paul’s is a supported living environment in Sandwell. Within St. Paul’s eight individuals on the autistic spectrum live independently within their own flat and are supported by a dedicated team of autism specialists. All the people living at St. Pauls receive individualised payments, paying for their own support and accommodation. All support is delivered on an individualised basis, designed to meet the needs and aspirations of the individual.
Making a Referral
