Rising to the Challenge

8th August 2012 10:26 am
Author: Autism West Midlands

Rising to the Challenge is a weekly six session course aimed at family carers who really want to understand their child’s autism. Meeting other families and sharing stories helps families understand they are not alone in having to deal with the challenges they face and they begin to see the joys of their child’s uniqueness too.

Families attending this course will gain greater confidence in living with autism, feel better equipped to manage difficulties and learn to accept and enjoy their child more. All participants will receive ideas, strategies and resources to take away with them and contact details for accessing the Information and Family Support Service of Autism West Midlands.
