SUMMARY:The Positives of Autism Workshop for Professionals
DESCRIPTION:Book your space here \nAn online workshop hosted using Microsoft Teams by Autism West Midlands for professionals working in Herefordshire and Worcestershire. \nHosted during Autism Acceptance Week\, this online workshop is designed to celebrate and explore the strengths\, abilities\, and unique perspectives of autistic adults. Rather than focusing on challenges\, this session highlights the many positive characteristics associated with autism and how these can be recognised\, embraced\, and applied in everyday life. For professionals\, this workshop offers valuable insight into strengths-based approaches\, helping to build more inclusive practices and a deeper understanding of how to recognise and nurture autistic strengths in the people they support. \nPlease ensure to provide an email address when booking your place so we are able to send the Microsoft Teams meeting invitation to you. This will be sent out the Tuesday before the event. \nIf you have any questions about this workshop or any of the other support we offer please don’t hesitate to contact us at: herefandworcs@autismwestmidlands.org.uk
