SUMMARY:Wellbeing Walk for Autistic Adults – Hereford Pop Up!
DESCRIPTION:Book your space here \nJoin us for our Wellbeing Walk for Autistic Adults living in Herefordshire and Worcestershire around Bishops Meadow. A perfect opportunity to meet other autistic adults\, talk to staff from Autism West Midlands and enjoy nature in a calm and relaxing setting. There is no expectation to talk or socialise and you are welcome to bring along a camera to take some pictures of the scenery or binoculars to look for wildlife. \nUnfortunately we are unable to accommodate the participation of children under the age of 16 for this event. \nOur walk is scheduled from 1pm until 3pm\, however we will not always walk for the entire 2 hour period. Should the walk finish early you are welcome to make use of the small cafes within the area\, however\, staff will not remain with you during this time. \nBishops Meadow can be easily accessed by car. There are a number of car parks nearby and public toilets along our route.  An Autism Specialist Advisor will be leading the session and be able to provide information advice and signposting to services if needed. \nOur meeting point for this wellbeing walk will be outside the front of the Cathedral. During the session\, we’ll work on a range of simple DIY sensory projects such as fidget items\, textured crafts\, calming tools\, and other creative pieces. No previous crafting experience is needed – guidance and ideas will be available\, and everyone is encouraged to work at their own pace. \nIf you would like further information about the location of our group please get in touch with us and we can send across an information document we have put together including information and photos about the venue as well as travel information. \nBooking is essential! We have limited spaces and would hate to turn anyone away. We also politely ask you to make us aware of any medical conditions you may have. SUMMARY:Worcester Coffee and Chat for Autistic Adults
DESCRIPTION:Come join us for some good coffee and casual conversations at Worcester Coffee and Chat for Autistic Adults!\n\n\n\nDuring the colder months we have decided to replace our Wellbeing Walks with a coffee and chat meet up. We will still be meeting at Worcester Woods\, but in the warmth of the café. \nA safe and trusted space to meet other autistic adults living in the Herefordshire and Worcestershire area\, talk to staff from Autism West Midlands and enjoy nature in a calm and relaxing setting. There is no expectation to talk or socialise and you are welcome to bring along a camera to take some pictures of the scenery or binoculars to look for wildlife outside of the café. \nUnfortunately we are unable to accommodate the participation of children under the age of 16 for this event. \nWorcester Woods can be easily accessed by public transport and car. There is free parking on site as well as a small café and toilets. An Autism Specialist Advisor will be leading the session and be able to provide information advice and signposting to services if needed. \nBook here \nIf you would like further information about Worcester Woods please get in touch with us and we can send across an information document we have put together including information about the venue including photos and how to spot us!
