Covid19 Statement

Like all organisations Autism West Midlands is affected by the challenges presented by the Coronavirus. As a provider of 24 hour care and support services, as well as family and community based support we are working around to the clock to ensure that we can continue to provide our support to keep people safe and well.

As ever, our staff and managers are showing extraordinary dedication to do everything in their power to keep our homes and services operating. Quite rightly there is a significant focus on health services but it is important for people to understand that care and support workers work through the hours to ensure that the people we support, often with very complex needs, are able to continue to live safely in their home.

I thank each and every one of our staff for everything they are doing at the moment.

We may be looking for temporary staff, volunteers or people to just help out generally over the coming weeks. If you think you would like to help us please email HR@autismwestmidlands.org.uk

Phil Middlewood, Chief Executive
