New Registered Manager at The Burrows.

12th March 2019

Autism West Midlands are very pleased to welcome Rebecca Gossage who has joined the team in Droitwich as the new Registered Care Manager, at The Burrows – Supported Living. Rebecca has worked within the Health and Care Sector for many years starting her career as a Support Worker and has experience in both Care Manager and Operations Manager roles.

A major part of Rebecca’s role will be to ensure that people living there receive high quality, specialist support to enable them to live fulfilling lives.

“I appreciate that this is an exciting – though maybe nervous – time for individuals who will be supported through the scheme and it is likely that Supported Living is something that they may not have thought too much about in the past. Supported Living offers individuals the opportunity to live as independently as possible within their own community; individuals are given more choice over the way they wish to live and how they choose to be supported”.

The transition period for The Burrows will be a lengthy one with careful consideration into the needs of all involved; this is so Autism West Midlands can ensure good outcomes for everyone who chooses to live there. Rebecca will be available during this journey supporting individuals and their families .

Working for Autism West Midlands offers those who have a passion for person centred support to be part of a new and innovative journey. A journey that will change the way people can receive support.

This is a great opportunity to come and be part of a new specialist, empowered and enthusiastic team who want to make sure everyone receives the best care and support. If you are looking for a new challenge and would like the opportunity to work for a specialist provider we would like to hear from you.

Be part of the change.
