Update on New Supported Living Scheme The Burrows

5th December 2018

The building work at The Burrows is nearing structural completion.  The supported living scheme is on track for its grand opening during Autism Awareness Month April 2019 and it is hoped that people will start to move into their new homes from this date onwards. People we support have been busy taking part in our media project, capturing images of the build as it develops and more recently using their images to produce some amazing pieces of art work.

The project teams have been busy working with the architects and builders to ensure the design meets the needs of those who will be living there and some minor adaptations have been made to ensure peoples new homes maximise their independence and are fit for purpose. A lot of thought and consideration to the needs of people with autism has gone into the design and planning of the build.
