Telford Autism Hub is for adults living in Telford, who have, or may have an autism spectrum condition.
Through the Hub people who are aged over 16 seeking information, advice and support about their individual circumstances have access to both pre and post diagnostic support.
Who can access the service?
- Anyone over the age of 16 without a learning difficulty who is either
- Seeking a diagnosis of autism spectrum condition
- Or who has a diagnosis of autism condition
Autism West Midlands has members of staff based in the Hub who provide specialist pre and post diagnostic information, advice and support, deliver workshops and contribute to the assessment pathway alongside members of the multi-disciplinary team.
The Hub has a group session each Friday where new users and those going through the assessment pathway can meet to receive information and book one to one appointments with Autism West Midlands staff. Individuals who have already received a diagnosis but require support can book one to appointments outside Hub hours.
Training workshops and evening social events are arranged from time to time and are open any existing or past Hub user.
