We use our passion and expertise to enrich the lives of people with autism and those who love and care for them.
Advice and information
Autism West Midlands are committed to providing up-to-date information about autism to people on the spectrum, their families and carers, and professionals. We have various information and visual resources available online, information on how to access our autism information line and apply for an Attention Card.
Training for parents
We offer courses and workshops for parents which are held at various venues across the West Midlands and include introductory awareness sessions, programmes with multiple sessions and workshops on specific topics.
Family groups and events
We offer a range of events from support groups to play sessions. We have support groups and coffee mornings throughout the region, we also run a number of family events such as activity sessions and visits to attractions during the year.
Groups for young people
We provide groups and activities where children and young people can attend without their parents or carers. Through these opportunities parents can have a break from their caring responsibilities and children and young people have the opportunity to have some fun and develop independence skills.
