It’s that time of the year again! This April we’re back with our annual World Autism Awareness Month campaign.
We operate services across the West Midlands that provide residential care to autistic adults. All our services are rated ‘Good’ by CQC.
Our community services team supports adults, families, children and young people. We help people to build knowledge, skills and confidence enabling them to actively participate in their communities. Our services operate across the West Midlands working alongside both statutory and voluntary sector partners.
We provide specialist support that enables autistic people to maintain independence, develop relationships and learn new skills within the community they live in.
Our helpline welcomes calls from parents, autistic adults, carers and professionals who live in the West Midlands to discuss concerns they have about autism (before and after diagnosis). Callers will find experienced, understanding staff who offer a listening ear and who can provide information about autism and local support services.
We can offer training courses delivered face to face or virtually. Training can be tailored to meet needs. Our trainers include experts by experience (parent carers and autistic people) and all are experienced at delivering to a wide range of audiences.
The Autism Alert Card is a plastic card (bank card size), recognised by West Midlands, West Mercia, Warwickshire, Staffordshire and British Transport Police. It can alert people in authority that the individual is autistic and may have additional support needs.
Please read here to find out more about our services and how our support has enabled autistic people to lead happy and fulfilling lives. Our cases studies aim to illustrate our passion and expertise and how we make a difference to people’s lives.
