30 Years for Oakfield House

The Oakfield House Fete this year celebrated 30 years of the home being open. Autism West Midlands also celebrates 30 years of having Eve and Sue managing the home!

New Director of Operations

On Friday 5th July, Autism West Midlands held another successful themed tea party at Row Heath Pavilion, Bourneville, Birmingham.

New Supported Living Scheme – The Burrows Opens

On Wednesday 19th June, Autism West Midlands in partnership with Fortis Living - part of Platform Housing Group and Worcestershire County Council celebrated the opening of a new supported living scheme for autistic adults and adults.

Autism West Midlands are exhibiting at this year’s autism show in Birmingham on 21-22 June, NEC, Birmingham. There will also have the opportunity to book on to an Autism West Midlands clinic on autism & anxiety in children and young people.


World Autism Awareness Day 2019

Tuesday 2nd April was World Autism Awareness Day and Autism West Midlands had a fantastic day celebrating with channel 4’s Autistic Gardner (Alan Gardner) and pupils at Priestley Smith Primary School based in Birmingham.

Wedding Day Fundraising

Georgina offered to fundraise for us at her wedding instead of receiving wedding gifts. Georgina raised well over £500 on her special day, we would like to say a huge thank you to her and her wedding guests!
