Come and Play – Inclusive Play Session
Sense and Autism West Midlands invite you to come and play at Sense TouchBase Pears! Come and Play is a relaxed, drop in session with toys, games, activities and sensory spaces for ages 4-11 and their parents/guardians.
Spaces will be organised by different activities and noise/movement levels, with a dedicated quiet space available throughout. Hot and cold drinks and snacks will be available, and you are also welcome to bring a picnic (or use the onsite cafe). Everyone booked on the session will receive a welcome email with specific details about what to expect and where to go.
Staff from Autism West Midlands and Sense’s Children and Young People’s Team will be available to chat and share information about support on offer.
Who is this for?
Children aged 4-11 and their parents/guardians, who would benefit from a neurodiverse friendly and inclusive play space. No diagnosis is necessary, and families on the NDP waiting list are especially welcome! If you’re not sure whether this session is for you please get in touch to ask.
While staff will be available to support, parents/guardians will be responsible for their children at all times and there will be no specific provision for under 4’s.
