

This programme offers an opportunity to learn more about autism in a small, supportive, group setting. It provides an opportunity to discuss individual experiences, hear the experiences of others, and identify strategies that could help in your day-to-day life.
Who can attend:
• Teenagers (over 13 years) with an autism diagnosis
• Your post code comes under Birmingham or Solihull council.
• You are able to commit to attend weekly sessions.
The group sessions last for 1.5 hours, and cover:
1. Understanding Autism/interests
2. Social Communication
3. Sensory Awareness
4. Anxiety
5. Self-esteem, Self-image and happiness
6. Transitions, Change and disclosure
Meet and greet sessions to be held online during the week commencing the 2nd June, followed by 6 group sessions:
Mondays:
9th, 16th, 23rd, 30th June, 7th, 14th July.
Followed by an online post programme meet up
