Oakfield’s Summer Fête Was Magnifique!

Oakfield House was full of life this week as they hosted their annual summer fête, and this year’s French theme made it extra special. Families, residents and staff all came together to enjoy good food, music, and plenty of activities. There was something for everyone, whether it was getting stuck into crafts, playing games on the lawn, or just sitting back and soaking up the atmosphere.

One of the highlights of the day was the performance by our residents choir. They’ve been practising for weeks and absolutely nailed it. It was great to see how proud they were, and how much the crowd enjoyed it!

We had some delicious French-style food, lots of creative activities, and even a handmade Eiffel Tower right in the middle of the garden. It was a brilliant centrepiece and a real team effort to put together.

Events like these take a lot of work behind the scenes, so a big thank you to the staff at Oakfield who pulled everything together. The day had a lovely relaxed feel and it was clear how much thought and care went into making it happen. Thanks to everyone who came along and helped make the day so memorable.
