Sahiba, aged 6, has done some amazing fundraising for us this week by hosting a ‘Hot drinks and snacks’ stall for parents and children at her school in Edgbaston. The stall was organised for school pick-up time and drinks were free but Sahiba asked for donations to be made to Autism West Midlands if parents would like to.
Initially, Sahiba and her Mum set a target of £100 to be raised but they have hugely surpassed this and raised a truly incredible £1,159.00 for Autism West Midlands.
Sahiba has two autistic sisters who were the main inspiration for her fundraising. Sahiba and her family have all accessed services provided through Autism West Midlands and are proud advocates of autism awareness and supporting other autistic individuals.

“This charity is very close to our hearts and home because both of my sisters have autism. They have helped me, my Mum and Dad understand why my sisters are different and how I can be a good big sister to them…. Every little bit will make the world kinder and safer for my sisters as they grow up.”
It takes a really special person to want to do something that helps so many other people and Sahiba really is a superstar.
Thank you, Sahiba- We are so proud of you for completing this amazing fundraiser and, most importantly, for being such a kind and loving sister.
