Virtual Silly Sock Day
The loss of World Autism Awareness Week and the cancellation of our annual fundraiser Silly Sock Day at the start of April has meant that our donations have almost disappeared. Please help by taking part in our virtual Silly Sock Day on Thursday 28th May and donating to Autism West Midlands. Thank you.
Covid 19 has had a significant impact on fundraising income at a time when we need it the most. During this challenging time we have adapted quickly to make sure we are still here to support our families through the crisis. Our Autism West Midlands Helpline remains available for anyone who is West Midlands based, with extended opening hours at this time. We have adapted our services to offer support by phone, email and video call, and we have set up support groups using Facebook and Zoom. We are also providing free webinars on a range of topics that are run weekly for West Midlands based parents, carers and professionals as well as providing free downloadable information through our website.
This is why we need your help more than ever… Thank you for supporting Autism West Midlands!
“I was delighted to support Autism West Midlands and their Silly Sock Day during World Autism Awareness Week 2019. Autism West Midlands do fantastic work supporting local autistic people and their families. We all had a great time at Priestley Smith Primary School, it was a brilliant day!”
