Autism Champion Training

Do you work with autistic adults or children? Do you have autistic colleagues within your workplace? Is your work environment inclusive and accessible to all?

We are offering an excellent opportunity for all professionals, volunteers or people working within the community to become Autism Champions.

The sessions will be run by Lyn Young, a talented and engaging trainer, and will be hosted online via teams so you can join from anywhere that suits you.

We are offering sessions on various dates over the next few months but the first one will take place on the 14th May 2025 so be quick to book as we are expecting this to sell out fast!

“The lived/living experiences of the training facilitators made their delivery passionate and authentic as well as the clear and concise way explaining the types of reasonable adjustments that could help people I meet and support that have autism. They made a subject that has so many layers and complexities, understandable and their knowledge and experience reinforced the importance and significance of creating spaces that are truly inclusive for people that have autism”- Autism Champion Trainee, 2024.

The training provides insight into how autistic people experience the world differently. The training aims to enable better understanding which in turn can help make things more accessible to autistic people. Participants will be able to champion autism within their workplace and cascade knowledge and good practice.
