AWM recently hosted a parent and carer 5k walk around Sandwell Valley and raised a fantastic £650!
The funds raised will be used to fund events, activities and resources for Sandwell children, teenagers and their parents.
The event was organised and hosted by Donna, one of our specialist autism advisors.
Despite the rain and cloudy skies the event itself was a great success- everyone arrived in their wellies and raincoats ready to tackle the 5k challenge and enjoy each others company. Each attendee also received an AWM goody bag for taking part.
It was a great opportunity to not only raise money but also to meet others, share advice and spend some quality time together in the great outdoors.
