We are pleased to announce that we have successfully received funding from The National Lottery Community Fund to expand our befriending service.
This service is currently funded by Walsall Council for residents within Walsall and offers attendees the chance to learn valuable life skills to help them live independently and successfully within the community. The group also allows like-minded individuals to meet up socially and to form long, lasting friendships. It is a crucial service to those that attend and one that is in high demand to autistic individuals within the local area.
This award winning service has limited spaces with high demand and we are hopeful that this additional funding will enable us to offer more people the opportunity to attend sessions and benefit from the group.
Reactions from Service users and Parents:

“That’s amazing news that more funding has been secured and you can continue to support more autistic adults in Walsall”
“It’s fabulous to hear that the additional funding will enable more autistic adults to be supported in Walsall. I’m sure that it will be appreciated”
The National Lottery Community Fund helps fund projects that help people connect, grow and build a better future. We are thrilled to have received this funding and to be able to support more autistic individuals to thrive through this vital service.
